Find a central meeting point

At GeoCode 3.0 someone suggested that it would be helpful to have a tool that helped people identify the meeting location that is most central to the specific participants attending. The idea is that you could type in a bunch of addresses and the tool would calculate a central meeting point.

We could simply link to this tool from our site OR we could try to create our own tool based upon this algorithm.

This is an item for discussion, unless someone wants to work on an implementation.

A simple approach is to list the locations nearest to the average latitude and longitude of the participants.

Is there a way to tie into Doodle or use a similar approach? Tying a common place to meet and a time to meet is similar problem.
