Neovim blockers

Hard blockers:

• buffer randomly disappearing
• quickfix window marked hidden while visible (neovim: \q doesn't open quickfix window #11)
• no way to see output of :!

Soft blockers:

• ctrl-l in / prompt not supported (seems to work now)
• color in :make not supported
• -- TERMINAL -- text under fzf window
• terminal ergonomics (e.g. ctrl-w w in insert mode doesn't work)

Vim soft blockers (i.e. Neovim conveniences):

• inccommand
• command prompt completion menu
• auto buffer update after fs change
  • Vim now does this (but prompts)
• untested: treesitter
• untested: LSP

The "buffer randomly disappearing" bug happens in Vim too!

I used Vim version 8.2.0823 for a while and never saw the bug. I upgraded to Vim version 9.0.0001 and saw the bug.

Perhaps Neovim imported the buggy Vim patch.

I think the hard blockers still exist in Neovim, but I haven't tried recently.
