Reminder to donate annually, monthly

A user requested that there be a notification sent out to members asking for another donation on a set timeframe. I recommended a level that expires but they do not want to expire users, just remind them on a set interval that they could donate again (the level is free).

This can maybe be accomplished by integrating with an email service like Mailchimp and sending users emails x days after their last donation.

A customer sent in a ticket (ID 417590) with the following request:

I was wondering if there was some way that I could make this code for the donation a recurring tip. My plan is to only have them check out once and then the membership would be recurring, so how it’s set up right now is they select a tip option, but when the next week comes around, the tip drops off and they are only charged for the price of the subscription. I would like to make it easy for them and just change the donation to a recurring donation for each week of their membership.

You will need to set a recurring interval, so that they can donate again at the next checkout.

All our users are autorenewing. They start with a trial and move to regular autorenewals on a specific date.
I wonder if there is a way to add a donation (with a tax receipt) to that event.
