Feature Request: Option to require user to be logged in for verification

Adding an optional security check that requires a user to be logged in before accepting the validation for a membership might prove useful in edge cases.
The drawback of this added step is that it might affect user experience.

We should discuss this further, I think it's okay to validate the user's while being logged-out as most sites often require validation before you can log in - will keep this open if anyone else would like to discuss this further.
