'Member Homepages Add On' (v. 0.3.1) breaks WP Theme File Editor. #36
Description
If this add on is enabled (v. 0.3.1), my client cannot save changes to functions.php within the Theme File Editor. Only seems to happen when trying to save functions.php.
They get the following error when trying to save:
Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the php change was reverted. you will need to upload your php file change by some other means, such as by using sftp.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Enable this add on and try to save functions.php, and it should return the error.
- [ YES ] I have deactivated other plugins and confirmed this bug occurs when only Paid Memberships Pro plugin is active.
- [ YES ] This bug happens with a default WordPress theme active (Twenty Twenty-Four theme), or Memberlite.
- [ YES ] I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above.
Happens running PHP 8.2 and PHP 8.3, also tried PHP 7.4, and all three had the same problem. This was the only plugin causing problems. They have 50 other plugins running and they were all disabled for testing. This was the only one out of the 50 causing this problem.
