I intend to dedicate 1-2 hours a day to SRI development, where should I start?

For a number of reasons, I intend to try my hand at developing this SRI repository directly (not a fork). I can dedicate about 1-2 hours a day. Can you suggest where you have a description of how a newcomer can join the development?

I know that there are many todo() in the code :-) Can I simply choose something to my liking and then make a PR to the master branch? I'm interested in how the workflow is organized in your team.

If there is a link to text with answers to these questions - I would be very happy to see it.

We have some contribution guidelines defined here: https://github.com/stratum-mining/stratum/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md

Regarding the place where to start, we plan and prioritize our development using milestones, assigning the most relevant issues to them.
You can take a look at the project board here: stratum 🛠️

More specifically, the next one (milestone 1.5.0) is going to be about improving some of our roles, together with the improvements we are making on roles_logic_sv2 crate.

Another thing we are going to focus on is feedback got by adopters, which have to be prioritized for sure.

The most important place where to start is the decoupling of the translation and aggregation logic inside the Translator Proxy, tracked by the following issue: #1623

If you want and you're interested in it, I can assign that issue to you :)

I appreciated the irony of the situation! =) Well, thank you very much for the detailed answer! I will read the text at the links, and write back in more detail later.

1) In any case, I would like to start collaborating in the new format with something less substantial than the mentioned task :-) I need to get a feel for how the working interaction between us functions.

2) Do I understand correctly that we can proceed as follows:

1. I choose a task.
2. I inform you about it.
3. You assign it to me.
4. I complete it and make a PR.
