Both workflows support running make test, make lint, make sync, etc. The difference is what Claude is allowed to DO with the results.

Why This Design Makes Sense

The current two-workflow design is actually well thought out:

1. Triage workflow (this issue triggered it) analyzes issues without making changes - perfect for understanding problems
2. Mention workflow allows Claude to implement solutions and create PRs - perfect for execution

The custom instructions in the triage workflow explicitly say:

"You will not make branches or pull requests. Your ONLY action will be investigating the issue..."

This is intentional! It prevents Claude from automatically creating PRs for every new issue, which could be overwhelming.
