how to disable tooltip or mouseTracking?

Hi. Great plugin! I need a means to disable under interaction with the regerssion line (I just want to see it).

tooltip: { enabled: false }

doesn't appear to work, nor does

enableMouseTracking: false,

This Issues from 8 years ago poses a few solutions which don't work for me. Anything newer to try?
