No such option exists.
Uh, can you share a screenshot (or even better, a video)? And version on StreetComplete and your Android. For me, SC 61.3 on Android 15, it is centered exactly in the middle of the screen e.g. like here: (I also seem to recall it was in lower third of the screen, but then it was changed to be in the center. Can't find that issue right now, though) |

Also using version 61.3 on Android 15. When I checked just now the position is shown in the middle of the screen. Yesterday while biking it was in the upper third and stayed there even when I pressed the locate icon. I also seem to recall a time when it would stay near the bottom of the screen when moving, which I think is better. |

When using the app, is it possible to control where the icon showing my current position on the map is placed on the screen?
I’ve noticed that when I switch to the perspective view (where the map is tilted in the direction of movement), my position is shown near the upper part of the screen/map. I don’t find this very practical, but I’m not sure if this is a bug or simply intended behavior (I don't think it was always like that but not entirely sure).
I couldn’t find any setting in the app to adjust this. Is there one, or is the placement fixed?
Thanks.
