Interesting, one always learn something new in OSM
Unless UK community has specific guidelines stating otherwise (that I'm not aware of), lane_markings=yes should only be tagged on part of the road that actually has lane marking on it (and conversely, So, if the quest is presented for a whole road, but the answer differs for different sections of the road, you should choose (the same principle applies for other quests, e.g. if part of the road is lit and part isn't, or if the sidewalk situation differs between sections of the road, etc. -- you should split it, so you can answer each part correctly) |

This is also very common in Denmark although I'd estimate no more than 5m is marked. I usually answer 'no marked lanes'. |

In the UK, it is common for a road to have lanes painted at the junction but then not on the rest of the road. This means eg the first 10m have a lane but then the road doesn't.
To be clear, I'm not talking about roads where the painted lines are worn out and so barely visible.
Am I right that this means the quest should be answered as the road has no marked lanes?
