Kraft mgiration in strimzi 0.40 or 0.45

Hi All,

we are at 0.40 strimzi and trying to do the Kraft migration to deprecate the Zookeeper. However it's deleting the all brokers at a time and controllers are deploying. This leads to outage. Did any one does this migration or anyone is at latest version of strimzi ? could someone please suggest us how to do it ?

You didn't say much on how you are doing the migration. I suppose that you are following the documentation (plus you can also check the blogpost https://strimzi.io/blog/2024/03/22/strimzi-kraft-migration/)
What is your configuration? What are the steps you did so the brokers are being deleted?

we upgraded strimzi-operator to 0.40 or 45 which went fine.

you should go to one of the version and then try it. So you should go with 0.45.1 and go through the doc Paolo mentioned.
You should also check the logs from operator what is actually happening.

And as Paolo mentioned, I wouldn't go through personal support calls, Strimzi is a community project.

Migrating Kafka brokers from the traditional Kafka custom resource to the KafkaNodePool custom resource in Strimzi 0.45 and is this prior to Kraft migration if so what is the procedure for this ?

This is exactly why I said go through the documentation without missing any steps, including warnings and prerequisites :-)
