MacOS warning about opening gentle


I tried to load the .dmg file to MacOS Sonoma system and got the following message. 

```
“gentle” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.
```

I could open the file with an override in the privacy settings, but I thought I should report the error.
