What are perspective [values] ?

I'm curious about the [values] described in perspectives here.

If I put anything in that position (whether quoted or not) I get a 'too many tokens' error.

So what is it supposed to be used for, and how does one use it? The linked help page doesn't mention it.

It's a mostly undocumented work in progress, providing a way to modify element styles when a perspective is enabled. For example:

It appears that the pop up window which shows the text for the perspective is styled according to the underlying element. Is there a way to style that pop-up?

As I said, it's a work in progress ... perspective styles are not included in the diagram key either. I should hopefully be able to get back to this feature early next year.

That's great - I guess I'm feeling around the edges for which bits are in progress and which bits are still to come!

If you get to a point that you think it is worth having someone test things, I'd be happy to be a guinea pig.

Great Feature! Any way to activate legends for perspective? Lets say I have 3 components Perspective-1 Value B , other three Components Perspective-1 Value C. When I activate perspective-1, how can I understand what color is Value B and what color is Value C in the UI? Any way to show Legends? Edit: After playing little bit around , I understand now the missing part is the diagram keys.
