Testing the kernel module

Can you test the kernel module, compile the module and insmod it, dmesg to see the full list of pids and cmdlines. Open up your browser for like 10 seconds then close it. Read the dmesg again and it should contain only the latest browser pids and cmdlines.

I never close my browser. That might pose a problem. 😭

I see the browser pids and cmdlines, but also, many other things... like pids with no commands.

That means they have no cmdline in /proc/PID_NUMBER/cmdline. Thanks for the information that it works on your system too.

Just fixed the issue with cmdline being empty/non-existing, it will fallback to /proc/PID_NUMBER/status instead.
