Arrow ligature (`=>`) misalign in V7.3 of hinted font (also in unhinted font for some case)

There are 2 samples below, captured in Windows 10, latest PHPStorm. Both fonts are 14px, semibold, TTF-AutoHint version.

In V7.3, when I type "=" and next ">", "=" symbol remains the same. In V.7.2 distance between lines of "=" increases to perfectly match arrow end.

VSCode and Sublime text has the same problem.

This seems to be a hint issue. Do the other equal arrows, like ==> or =>=, have the same alignment problem?

Yes, they have the same problem.
For example in VSCode (the same in PHPStorm):

I've noticed that problem disappears if I set non standard zoom.
VSCode (one "Zoom In" applied):

PHPStorm (Zoom 125%):

My monitor is 1920x1080, system zoom is 100%.

Thanks, I'm sure that the issue is caused by font hint. Can you also test Fira Code with =>? The new infinite arrow ligatures are inspired by it.

Also, there is a way to rollback v7.2's effect, but the infinite arrow ligature will be removed. Docs

Thank for suggestion to tweek ligatures with custom build. The issue is not frustrated, so I'll stick with V7.3 defaults.
