Audio not playing

I have installed and tried playing a few tracks but there's no audio

I have the same thing NO SOUND, on Ubuntu mate 22.04 with recommended library installed : sudo apt install -y youtube-dl libmpv1 libmpv-dev

I've built ytui-music inside a docker container, and connected to my machine's pulseaudio sound server.
I also have this issue: no sound and always 0:00/0:00. I Tried using youtube-dl in terminal with no success. It seems to download webpage and try to find the file source using a regex:

ERROR: Unable to extract uploader id; please report this issue on https://yt-dl.org/bug

The website is down, Wikipedia also mentions there was a takedown request:

On October 23, 2020, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) issued a takedown notice

Then the hypothesis is that ytui-music (which I imagine relies on youtube-dl) cannot download the songs in order to play them.

Somewhere in r/youtubedl, yt-dlp was put forth as a newer alternative.
So here's an hack that worked for me:

curl -L https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/releases/latest/download/yt-dlp -o ./yt-dlp
chmod a+rx ./yt-dlp  # Make executable
sudo cp ./yt-dlp /usr/bin/youtube-dl # notice this deletes current youtube-dl if present

Now ytui-music plays on my machine
