You can find the description of the idea here : #37 but basically the idea is to : make it possible to generate a Grist template from a prompt 🌱

I'm looking for teammates that have experience with MCP servers (or would like to explore them) and/or use Grist frequently ⚙️

A little bit about myself : I work as a beta.gouv freelancer for the Ministry of Culture on the compar:IA project. I have experience in technical product management, UI design and I have developed stuff but wouldn't consider myself as a real developer (I can take care of components of the system though).

I've made an MCP grist server wich made Grist callable by Claude Desktop app. The actual version can't create Grist tables but it can be done with a python script through the Grist API, so it can be done by MCP server also.

The idea behind this is to make the Girst tools builded available to the AI agent I'm building : Colaig

Grist can be good to store and retreive data solution with strutured data coupled by stored related vectorized data

Not using it yet but still working on it

You can reach MCP servers with n8n and construct specialized workflows and agents

You can reach n8n with webhook node with a Tchap message

=> you have a bunch of MCP AI agent can be crafted and available in Tchap 👍
