Does it support IMAP? I found only Gmail and Outlook connectors.

Interesting to know about Open Xchange. It seems to rely on Dovecot, and I am not sure about the license / open source status of the project.

I never tried to build Zero. I just found it 2 weeks ago, when I was searching for an OSS webmail that has the same UX as gmail, meaning real threaded conversations, like gmail is famously doing. see here for a desciption of the UX I am talking about. All other alternative webmail clients can open only one email at a time. In my opinion, this is the reason why gmail retains so many users, as people got hooked on this amazing feature.

Apart from this UX consideration, developing importers from IMAP is something a project associated with NextGraph will be working on during the summer.

Finally, I bring your attention on https://github.com/stalwartlabs/stalwart for the server side.

I am thinking about a combination of Stalwart, Zero and IMAP importers, with NextGraph as storage (brings E2EE and offline support out of the box)
