Hyperlinks created in Inkscape on a image are not active with Sumatra PDF

Hello, as title says. When I create the hyperlink in Affinity Publisher, Sumatra can read it.

If I use Firefox for example to read the exported PDF from Inkscape, hyperlinks work.

the order is seemingly wrong so there is only a very narrow hyperlink area seen

If we ensure the link is in the normal foreground position it will work anywhere in the overlaid box drawing-1b.pdf

Thanks. How did you make the bigger please and why it works in Firefox and not in Sumatra ?

For first image I zoomed in and used highlight ON in the prerelease to check for the boxes.

For Second Image I had opened in an Editor (x-change) to see how it was behaving there and moved the boxes to front and moved sideways to check the zone worked separate to the image behind it. in any viewer including SumatraPDF.

FireFox is not a real PDF reader so it drills into all the page objects and places surrogate pages as background image foreground invisible text THEN any surface links. So not a good comparison, but I admit Chromium Edge (Foxit OR Acrobat based) seems to be able to handle the source links ! but then again they are blocked in my system
