Is the project still maintained? No new beta updates since July

I'm afraid this wonderful software got abandoned or something like this, because no new pre-release updates since July 27
I'm hoping of 3.6 final release some time

There is no schedule of updates, as no bank of programmers. So look at the last change was last month Nov 19, 2025 26th December 2025, but no release, since that requires considerable financial backers (about $500) and there are none. If you want the latest updates buy a pirate copy, there are many to choose from!

Once there was three year seven month time gap between 3.1.2 and 3.2. Let us wait and hope.

SumatraPDF is still maintained. There is a pre-release (daily/preview) version available directly from the official SumatraPDF website, not only on GitHub releases. That pre-release build does receive periodic updates, even if formal beta or stable releases are infrequent.

The lack of recent tagged releases doesn’t mean the project is abandoned—development continues, just without a fixed release schedule.
