Feature Request: Support Markdown Relative Links to PDF Files in SumatraPDF

I would like to request a feature that enables clicking relative links to PDF files in Markdown documents (e.g., [README.pdf](./README.pdf)) to open the target PDF directly in SumatraPDF, thanks.

Implemented, will be in the next pre-release build.

Clicking a relative link to a PDF (or any other document we can open — .epub, .cbz, ...) in a Markdown or HTML document now opens it in SumatraPDF instead of navigating the embedded browser view to it. Ctrl + click opens it in a new window. Files of a type we cannot open are handed to the shell instead, and links to other pages, images and other web resources still follow inside the document view as before.

Thanks for the quick update, but I have an issue on my win10.
When click a relative link to a PDF in Markdown, the PDF opens in a new tab, but when I switch back to the Markdown tab, it takes over 5 seconds for the page to reload.

Does it happen every time with that particular markdown / pdf file?

@kjk I cannot emulate on Win10 in Sandbox the source tab is loaded instantly.

Even if file is on a network drive and opened on another device such as win 7
Worst offender there seems to be it keeps looking for AntiGravity ?

@haimag I suggest you close session then open session to ensure log is small then use ctrl+k to show log after you return from pdf to the launch tab.
