ffcvt: Probe error - exec: "sh": executable file not found in %PATH%

Hello

First of all, thank you to anyone who might look at my problem. I downloaded ffcvt for Windows in hopes of shaving down some video files, but I ran into this error from the start ffcvt: Probe error - exec: "sh": executable file not found in %PATH%.

I'm pretty sure I have setup anything %PATH% related correct and I'm most likely missing something really simple because of my lack of skill.
I have the program extracted under "C:\ffcvt"

Oh,sorry about the trouble.

The best option to use ffcvt under Windows is to use it under Cygwin or WSL 1, else you'll bump into tremendous problems just like this, as it is meant to be used under such environment, and where ffmpeg and ffprobe are readily available.

What Cygwin and WSL 1, or ffmpeg and ffprobe mean and how to install/use them will be left as the execise of the end users, as this place talks about nothing but ffcvt. Thanks for your understanding.
