keep the controle button icon unhide

Hi,
is possible to keep the control button icon visible?
i just set a different icon for my button and i would like to see it, so i prefer when it always visible,
it also serve as a visual anchor, because when i need to use it i know want i am looking for.

It can't be changed by settings now.
I think It can be improved.
