Requests timing out?

As far as I can tell I've set the MCP server up correctly. First tried in Zed, though then found out it doesn't support SSE yet. Then tried in Windsurf. Since Windsurf is officially supported it should work. I can see the tools, the MCP server is running.. but whenever I try anything with the MCP server all requests time out.

Me too. Whether it's saving to the memory database or reading from the memory database, all requests time out.

But now it works after I restart VSCode.

Interesting. Same here! Restarted Windsurf, reloaded the Window once more.. and tried it. Worked very quickly :)

I'm experiencing connection failures and memory issues again, and this time restarting didn't help.

Now I put all the things that need to be remembered in the rules MD file of my cline. This is very convenient and fast, and every time I directly use the remembered things as the background context.

I hadn't used supermemory since participating in this thread.. @Avi-E-Koenig 's comment reminded me it exists.
So I did a fresh install from https://mcp.supermemory.ai/ in Windsurf and prompted to have a memory saved--request timed out.

It's weird how well thought out supermemory looks on the surface.. docs, website design, everything looking spiffy BUT then it doesn't work.
