Accessing Icons for Channels and Apps

Hey everybody,

i would like to access the icons of the apps and channels.
The url given from the app list request cannot be accessed in my web application which is running at the same network as my tv.

How do you view them?
Is there any way to access them ?

Hi, 1) can you please post what the URL looks like for you? 2) Can you access the URL outside the web app's JS (curl for instance)?

The URL I get from the request looks like the following:
Applications:

Channels:

I can not access it by curl, or any web browser :(

I am guessing the first URL (applications) is accessible via curl? Can you post the output of curl -v <URL>?

For channel, that looks like the local path of the FS within the TV. It does sound like LG changed it firmware to stop exposing these resources.. Can you post the full output object of list_apps()? The internal websocket response if you're somehow able to use PDB and step into this line: https://github.com/supersaiyanmode/PyWebOSTV/blob/master/pywebostv/controls.py#L76
