espeak alternative

Any advice to replace espeak (free natural alternative)?

brew install espeak-ng could be a solution?

i remember reading somewhere that replacing espeak might be possible.

the catch is that it would probably mean tweaking the kokoro package, which makes installation harder.

you're welcome to give it a shot, let me know if it works.

but i think i'd rather hunt for a better model next than fiddle with kokoro settings.
