svelte 5 props not recogonised by vscode

Describe the bug

Why is that even though i have installed everything props are giving error in vscode.. but output is fine in browser. I dont want to use typescript.

Just trying to use let { data, header, row } = $props(); from parent

Check if you have a tsconfig.json/jsconfig.json with the checkJs flag enabled.

Disabling checkJs ist not recommended, because this will remove all errors!

My feeling is that Svelte 5 is "overengineered" with TS and JSdoc - but the developer forgot "normal" users that do not like to use TS/JSdoc - like me or vishnuc.

I see only one problem... your props are correctly recognized as unknown.
And each require an array.

For example, if you replace your HTML with simple {data} - no error will come up, because undefined is valid in this case.

You can "fix" this with default values:

    row=()=>{}
} = $props()

I ended up learning typescript ,

I mean why do even solo devs like me is gonna use typescript ?? please consider us.

restarting vscode fixed that error , now as expected button() is not giving error and contentx() is giving error(correct behaviour) , disabling checkJs , does not show error on contentx aswel.
