Sharing a path

"As a runner, I want to share the record of a run I took with people I know, so they can track my progress and encourage me."

These would be important for hikers, bikers, and other enthusiasts who follow a path in their exercise.

Strava is a commercial service that provides this feature. Also Google Fit, Apple Health (only through 3rd-party apps), others.

Some data I'd want to see in the structure:

• Points in the path (maybe at specific distances, like 1km or 1mi)
• Time between the points (splits)
• Elevation changes (?)
