[FEAT] Add Table View for Assigning Meeting Parts

Feature description:

First of all, thank you for your excellent work — Organized is already a very well-designed and convenient app.

I wanted to share an idea that could make meeting assignment management even more intuitive. No matter what methods I try for assigning meeting parts, I always find myself returning to a table layout where I can clearly visualize who has which part and when.

Here’s a short video of the system I’m currently developing for personal use just to show what I mean in particular — it’s in Russian, but I hope the concept is easy to follow. (All names are randomly generated, no personal data included.)

In this view:
Colors visually distinguish different meeting parts and make it easy to get an overview at a glance.
Publishers are grouped by role — elders, ministerial servants, brothers, and sisters.
Since there are usually fewer brothers, they could simply be listed alphabetically.
For sisters, it might be more practical to sort by the date of their last assignment, keeping those who haven’t had a student part in a while near the top.

Just wanted to bring this idea to your attention in case you find it useful. Feel free to close the issue immediately — I simply thought it might help make the scheduling process even smoother.

Hi @ivanBell199 ! You might be interested in checking out the Monthly view of the Midwest meeting scheduling page (available on the Desktop, the top action button). It provides basically the same experience.

@ux-git Thanks for taking a look at my idea. Yes, the Monthly view is a good option, and I use it often 👍

The Table view would be different in two ways. First, while the Monthly view is meeting-based, the Table view would be person-based. The meeting items would only be in the selectors, while the focus would be on who has assignments and when. Second, a table would make things more visual. In the Organized, I can click a button to see a person’s list of assignments, but it’s not very easy to get a clear picture from text and dates alone. Colored cells make visual patterns. So instead of checking each person’s assignments in text form, I could get everything at a glance like this:

Of course, real assignments will likely be much messier. But combining the current approach with a Table view would provide maximum flexibility.

Another aspect is making adjustments. A common situation is when the overseer assigns meeting parts well in advance, but later publishers ask for changes. Suppose I schedule programs up to February and then get messages to find replacements for next week now in November. I’d open next week’s meeting and the select dropdown. People would be listed based on their last assignment of the same type across all meetings up to February, not prior to next week’s meeting. But I’d want to see who is least loaded right now, possibly taking into account other types of parts as well. A Table view would make that easier: I could see whose row is less dense, and the colors would show which types of parts they’ve had.

All that said, I realize this might just be my personal preference, and not many others would find it useful 🤷‍♂️
