Dokan - Store Vendor TItle tag displayed as Untitled and Breadcrumbs issue

Describe the bug

Whilst using Dokan Plugin with SEO Framework, no <titles> tags are displayed for Store Vendor, eg. https://elementor.igorkorotkov.com/store/another-store23/ displays Untitled - My Blog in the <title> tag instead of Another Store - My Blog

The same for Breadcrumbs where username (another-store23) is displayed instead of Store Name (Another Store), eg.
https://elementor.igorkorotkov.com/store/another-store23/ displays Home / Store / another-store23 instead of Home / Store / Another Store

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to https://elementor.igorkorotkov.com/store/another-store23/
2. See in the browser title as Untitled = My Blog
3. See in the Page Source < meta property="og:title" content="Untitled" >
4. See Breadcrumbs display Home / Store / another-store23

Expected behavior

<title> tag to display Store Vendor name, eg. Another Store - My Blog breadcrumbs to display Store Vendor name, eg. / Another Store

Hi @stelpy,

I'm sorry, I missed this issue.

To put it bluntly: Dokan isn't compatible with WordPress.

It should register the stores via the WordPress Post Type and Rewrite APIs; however, its developers chose to build a separate CMS on top of WordPress instead.

Because of this, they must manually adjust titles and URLs to override WordPress's default behavior.
Any plugin that tries to read data from WordPress now gets inconsistent information, as you are noticing with The SEO Framework.
Their structure creates an endless pursuit of hunting and fixing bugs, and I want no part in that.

Dokan's plugin authors should seriously reconsider their templating structure.
However, this is quite the undertaking, and I doubt they'll ever do that.
It would begin by using register_post_type() and register_taxonomy().

In any case, you could exclude TSF from working with Dokan's pages, so they can do their own thing, while TSF stays put for every other page. This may involve implementing a PHP filter. Please let me know if you wish to pursue this, and I'll determine what needs to be done to create the exclusions (note to self: dokan_is_store_page()).

Thanks for the answer! And yes, I would like to pursue the option you mentioned as I still need to get it to work.

I found a few themes with Dokan that could make the Store Title and Breadcrumbs working correctly -

Here's the filter you require to exclude TSF from operating on Dokan's pages:
I didn't test it, but it should work as intended.
