Use blockchain for storage

certain types of blockchain allow storing data and the ability to write scripts. for example:

• storj - decentralized storage. currently $4/TB/mo
• arweave - permanent decentralized storage. currently ~$2600/TB (no recurring fee)

It would be nice to allow data to be kept on external storage platforms, especially blockchain
