Allow parent item to inherit count of all children

What is the problem you are trying to solve with this feature?

We have the ability to add sub-items to parents. However, the parents have their own quantity. It would be a great addition if the parent could inherit the quantity of all subitems - essentially changing a parent item into a category, instead of a standalone item.

in the screenshot above, the child has 5 items, so the parent should also show 5 items (instead of a standalone total count)
