Health Check fails in Rootless container when run as specific user

What is the issue you are experiencing?

When running the rootless container and specifying the user in my compose file, the health check fails with a "Permission denied" error. This appears to be due to the filesystem within the container.

How can the maintainer reproduce the issue?

Run via compose file above; observe the container remaining in "unhealthy" state.

Well this is weird, and makes no sense at all…
What UID and GID does the user running the container have, please? 🙂

I'm running docker as root:

root@alpha:~/alpha# docker exec homebox id
uid=1001 gid=1001 groups=1001

I also realize my wget test above is incorrect since it's not running the complete command - apologies for that.

It should be noted that the health check actually runs wget --no-verbose --tries=1 -O - http://localhost:7745/api/v1/status which does not attempt to download a file (and this shouldn't get any file permission errors).
