P.S. For some reason I get the "Unable to create issue" error, when trying to use the "Feature request" template and I can't set the right labels or type here either. So I'd be grateful is someone could set the labels and type to "Enhancement" :) |

This should be in theory possible, doing a little digging I should be able to create some (what I'm calling it) "virtual" polymorphism in the attachments table so that it can be used by both items and maintenance_items. I'll dig into this a bit more after I get the current merge of the documents and attachments table sorted probably as part of the bigger overall storage update. |

What is the problem you are trying to solve with this feature?
When browsing through maintenance records, I need to see, e.g. how the maintained item been changing over time or if there was something peculiar to the particular maintenance rather than the item in general.
What is the solution you are proposing?
Add attachments support to the Maintenance entity, same as for the item, so pictures and files are displayed separately, as there might be a picture or e.g. a PDF peculiar to a particular maintenance.
What alternatives have you considered?
Adding pictures/files to the item itself and naming them in a certain way to be able to link them to particular maintenance is a workaround, but rather inconvenient. Also the item pictures would get cluttered easily that way.
Additional context
When planning maintenance, I'd like to add some more info, like pictures and files that are relevant to maintenance only and would only clutter the view if added on the item level.
Similarly when the maintenance has been done, I'd like to add pictures and files about it.
This way later on when viewing the maintenance log, I'll have all the info nicely organised: I can open a maintenance records and see what was planned and what was done at which point.
