What is the problem you are trying to solve with this feature?

In this example, imagine you have your vehicle in your inventory. You track your oil changes using the maintenance fields, have the manual in the attachments, etc. It would be great to be able to open the item and "print" the page into a nice receipt with all information for whoever may need it (warranty department if your engine goes out, law enforcement if its stolen, insurance if its crashed, etc).

What is the solution you are proposing?

I am proposing a "print" page. Currently, the web page itself is printable, but it is not in a user friendly and professional format. I have migrated from Sortly which has an "export" field which prints out a title page, an inventory page of all the selected items you wanted exported, followed by a page per item with all details in a nicely formatted page. I have attached an example of this output using a movie in my inventory. The title page and summary page are optional selections, just to show the full offerings of Sortly.

What alternatives have you considered?

Print off the webpage, but it isn't professional looking and doesn't have all information.

Additional context

I'd help implement and maintain but I cannot code. I would be willing to assist in whatever other manner I can, though.

This might be a duplicate, I'm sure this has come up before and @tankerkiller125 had some input, but we absolutely wish to support printing in multiple formats, likely leveraging a similar sort of engine / solution to what Snipe-IT has.

I just found Homebox recently after my excel spreadsheet started to get extremely out of control, and this is the one feature I really need. I keep inventory of my home for insurance purposes.

To further add onto this feature request:

• The ability to export to multiple formats such as to your printer and to pdf (Native OS print function can do that but it's extra steps)
• The ability to include attachments with exports via print / pdf file. This is important for PDF / PNG / JPG receipts that are attached.
