On very small labels, such as 3cm x 2cm ones, the QR code on the default landscape label would be unscannable. I have learned that the QR code contains the entire URL of the item. How about only storing an auto increment database index, which would be scannable within the Homebox web page and jump to the corresponding location/item page from there.
Also to make it easier for printing large QR codes, we can fit the entire width of the QR code in portrait mode, and use the rest of the label to print text.
Additionally, can we use barcode instead of QR code, if so we can reserve a lot of space for text, no matter it is landscape or portrait.
Can we make the label customizable in the web interface, able to do scripting and a interactive WYSIWYG viewer along with a code editor?
