Has anybody done a storage migration?

Like, gone from storing all the images and documents locally to adding a cloud object storage bucket now that those are supported (sorry if this is not a recent development. I just noticed them in the updated documentation.)

I would definitely prefer to use S3 or B2 then fill up my local drive. But it would only be worth doing if The storage migration were pretty much drag and drop.

Has anybody done this and lived to tell the tale? If not, and it's feasible, I'll give it a go shortly and report back if I can figure it out.
