My first instinct is to tell you to create a location. If you're lending up multiple things to somebody. So you can get really nitty gritty and granular But then if you don't want to have to create a location and then duplicate an item or move it to that location. You could consider labels. Then name each one of your friends with a label and then tag that item with the label. Then you could use the search feature to search for that label and see all the items associated with that. |

I recently found this project as I am looking for a solution to track items that I have lent to friends and family. E.g. I am often lending books/boardgames to friends and tools to family members. I would like to track when I've lent an item, pictures of the condition, and set reminders to ask for the item back.
It seems that Homebox does not currently have specific support for this, but from a quick play with the demo it looks like it could still be useful (e.g. creating a location for each individual I've lent an item to, or perhaps using labels, and using the maintenance reminders as reminders to ask for an item back). I would love to hear other people's thoughts on this and the best way to do it. Thanks.
