A beginner's question in Home Assistant

How to increase the frequency of measurement reporting. now I have reports in Home Assistant every 5 minutes.

Do you use a BLE or UART connection? Per default the update_interval should be around 2 seconds.

I use UART. It disconnects frequently, maybe that's the problem. I am using esp8266.
Should I switch to esp32? is it more stable? I do not have experience

If the ESP isn't connected the measurements cannot be passed to Home Assistant. Is the WiFi connection weak? Could you try to stablize the WiFi connection? In general operation without drop outs should be possible.

especially the Wi-Fi range is perfect.
Esp is a Chinese clone, maybe it won't work.
I will try to reduce the reading frequency to 5s?
What rx_timeout is for: 150 ms can make a difference
