In case of bug report: Expected behaviour you didn't see

systemd-backlight is listed in the SVG file in /run/log created by systemd-analyze.

In case of bug report: Unexpected behaviour you saw

systemd-backlight is not listed.

In case of bug report: Steps to reproduce the problem

Start system where systemd-backlight is run with inti=/lib/systemd/systemd-bootchart.

I guess it’s due to the special characters colon (:) and @ in the service unit name.

Can you provide some steps to reproduce?

You mention systemd-analyze.

Are you comparing the svg created by systemd-analyze plot to the one created by systemd-bootchart?

Is the issue that systemd-backlight@backlight:intel_backlight.service appears in the svg from systemd-analyze plot but not in the one from systemd-bootchart?

Have you tried increasing the sample frequency used when you run systemd-bootchart?

Have you tried enabling the option to show control group information in systemd-bootchart?
