How to remove certain entries from being sent/linked to google home.

I have the link working between h-a-m-h and google home but it adds about 40 or 50 device entries to my google home whereas I only have about 10 or so physical devices, it seems to add everything, rules, automations, every button state, very strange.
I tried to exclude a few entries using label etc except I do not really understand what I enter here, the device name, the entity id, do I need to unlink and relink for this to work, whatever I did I could not remove all the unwanted entries from google home.

What are you using to include? I only have one label to include and only assign that label to entities I want to appear in Google Home. I have nothing in exclude. I think labels only used to update after restarting the matter hub service, I do not know if that is still the case but it used to take a few minutes for Google Home to update after the restart.

Hi, I had admittedly not set labels, oddly enough when I do however now all entries are removed, none show up.
This is how I did it in case you can see where I am going wrong.

1. In HA go to settings, devices, mqtt, devices, there I edit an entry and add a label my_voice_assist to the device, it shows up then as a label in the device list.
2. In HA go to settings, addons, HAMH, open web ui, my matter bridge, three dots in top right, edit, under include type = label and value = "my_voice_assist".
   The issue is that now the list that was once populated with pretty much everything is empty, I have restarted the addon although I would expect the list to populate quite quickly, the pushing to google voica assist to maybe take a few minutes.
   Not sure where I am going wrong unless the label I am setting in step 1 above is not the correct label? I will keep playing around to see if I can get it to work.

You must also add the same label "my_voice_assist" to each Entity, I don't think it works by device.

Afterwords, under Settings -> Addons -> Home-Assistant-Matter-Hub, select Restart then wait 2 minutes before testing.

That was it, under entities.
Phew, no idea how a new person figures all this out, especially to know what the difference is between a device label and an entity label, I basically clicked every configuration screen until I stumbled across the entities, had not seen that before.

It's only the entity label that is needed, I removed all the device labels as that didn't do anything.

I'm new too and this was super helpful!

1. In HAMH, include a "label" and name it "anything_you_want". THIS MUST BE IN LOWERCASE, with underscores if you want.
2. In Settings > Devices & Entities > Entity tab, add this label to the entities you want to use with HAMH
3. Then finally, Add ons > HAMH > Restart
