Would it be possible to add support for input_select for Alexa?

Would it be possible to add support for input_select for Alexa?

I want to select the state of my alarm system.

I know I could use input_boolean for each of the states, but input_select would be more readable and less error-prone.
If there was support for input_number instead, that could also work, but less descriptive.
