Windows taskbar doesn’t switch Light/Dark theme correctly across multiple monitors

• OS Version: 24H2
• Are you using the Microsoft Store version of WDD?: No (So I can use the PowerShell script)

I’m using the PowerShell scripts ChangeWindowsAppTheme and ChangeWindowsSystemTheme.

On my main display, the Windows system theme correctly switches between light and dark. However, since I have three monitors, the taskbars on the other two screens consistently show the wrong light/dark theme.

In the screenshot below, the taskbars on the left and middle screens are light (incorrect), (The middle screen is 4K, so the taskbar doesn’t appear here in the screenshot.) while the right screen (the main display) shows the taskbar in dark mode (correct).

Good point!

Strangely, dark mode almost always applies correctly, but when switching to light mode, about 80% of the time it reproduces the same inconsistent taskbar problem.......

OK, I understand it's a problem within the Windows system. Now it's working fine and even if there will be this problem again, we should expect the Windows update to solve it.

I wanted to mention that the Light/Dark theme inconsistency across multiple monitors always occurs when the theme changes while the system is in sleep or hibernation. This may be similar or related to the issue #657? Do you think they are related and can do anything about it?

I've observed a similar issue when Light/Dark theme changes during sleep with only a single monitor. I don't think this issue is specific to WinDD, since I use a separate program AutoDarkMode to switch the Windows theme.

It doesn't seem directly related to #657, but it's possible the fix will help if WinDD refreshes the theme right after wake from sleep.
