So it seems in this latest release (3.36.1) all functionality involving compile-options.json has been completely gutted out from 3.36.0, and was otherwise largely broken before that (I still haven't figured out exactly when it was).
Was this on purpose or just sort of a major oversight?
Edit: Okay it still largely works in 3.36.0 with some tweaks, but it's otherwise been completely gutted out of 3.36.1, so if I get time maybe I'll try to patch it back in.
