Hi, did you setup your CUDA environment following this? In a clean Ubuntu installation CUDA will not work out of the box.

In the same environment, when importing torch, the return value of CUDA displays True. When importing Taichi, CUDA cannot be found. Is it possible that the CUDA driver version is wrong? Will uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it work

The system seems to be WSL, I don't know if we have proper support for this. Taichi has support for Windows, just use it directly.

Also, the nvidia-smi is showing 0MB memory occupancy, which is unexpected. As this is a laptop, can you confirm that your GPU is properly brought up?
