Request: Grid Gap Divider

I want an option to have dividers for the grid gap. Let's say I want to have a vertical line between the grids in the middle of the gap, I'd have to clutter my custom css file. Basically this feature is similar to UIKit's Grid Divider. Just want some simple lines between the grid gaps. If I use a border, its not aligned and the only solution I have found is writing custom css.
