you just have to write that message in the conversation you want to use as a backup from any telegram app

6 years ago i did not feel to write a component to show the contact list for the user to choose so i just resolved to have a listener for a certain message coming from the correct back up conversation

be aware though telegram forbids sending encrypted messages over telegram except than to yourself eh
ive never seen it applied but its has been in the tos from the beginning

i know its a weird clausole that's why i wrote decentralized twitter and the evmfs

you can use any telegram application to send that message
the point of making you use any telegram application for whatever device you have was exactly to not have to write myself something to select the conversation, write the message and send it

you write that message in any conversation with any contact using any telegram app and from that point onward that conversation with that contact (so be sure to send that message in the conversation with yourself if you dont want to spam somebody with your files) will be the one where your encrypted files will be hosted

I also must inform you after you upload over 10 terabytes of files you may experience delays in some telegram apps features like messages and files search
