No literal syntax for decimal constants, and (at least at first) no operator overloading?

At this point all that's left of this proposal is something as syntactically clumsy as using an add-on decimal math library, except maybe the built-in library will run faster?

yes, we want to use it for expression evalator. But now the m literal also been removed. i really don't know what kind of use of this proposal would have. what is implemented before this proposal, there were many libs do like it. It has none any business value

@softboy99, I wouldn't be so harsh as to say what's left has no business value, but the value is greatly reduced.

The remaining value would be, I'd guess, a single agreed-upon standard for decimal math which can reduce the confusion of having multiple competing options available, and (possibly) better support for optimizing the performance of decimal math.

For me, however, what some might dismiss as "syntactical sugar" matters a lot.
