If you need help thinking through how to implement something, please don't hesitate to open and issue and ask questions.
** When submitting a PR ** Please explain what you're changing and why. If a change to existing code is necessary and it isn't obvious why that is related to your change, please explain why you made it. Of course, I appreciate you cleaning up typos and mistakes.
If you used generative AI to write part of your code, you'll still need to understand the changes well enough to explain why you made them. Be aware that generative AI (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude Code, Copilot) tend to make some style choices that don't fit with 3DMake and I'll suggest edits to keep things cohesive with the rest of the code. Please don't be offended by those changes, it helps me keep maintaining 3DMake in the long term.
** When you need a review ** I will see your new PR and review it as soon as I can. However, if you are asked to make a set of changes and you have finished with all of them or replied to all the relevant comments, please reply to the PR letting me know you're ready for another review. It can be hard to tell sometimes when someone has addressed everything, and sometimes people reply to a comment but forget to push the fix. I won't assume that you're ready for review until you ask for it.
