Binaries removed from release packages?

Strangely, when 1.7.2 was first released in had the binaries for various platforms in the /bin folder, but I tried redownloading it today and the /bin folder is gone. Also, it appears older releases have had the /bin folder removed as well.

I, for one, found having the precompiled binaries useful. Is their removal a mistake or intentional?

yes, we removed binaries due to #164 (comment) and #165

I think they will be added in releases.
